Any booking made with
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation is
conditional to the client having fully read and
understood the following Terms & Conditions. A $30.00 booking fee applies with all bookings. A $50.00 booking fee during peak season. All
bookings must be confirmed
with a minimum of 25% deposit within 7 days or the booking will be cancelled. The balance must
be paid no later than 30 days prior to arrival date,
otherwise the booking can be cancelled by 'Torquay
Holiday Rentals
Accommodation', regardless of whether a deposit has
been paid or not.
Holiday tariff Seasons are as follows:
Peak
Season
Peak Season
From 20 th of December to the 31st of January -----Victorian Easter School Holiday period.
4 night minimum for Easter. 3 night minimum for long weekends.Melb cup weekend is at long weekend rates pro rata for the 4th night.
During Xmas/Jan Peak all properties have a minimum stay of 7
nights, and they have varied minimum booking amounts
based on the size of the property. Refer to the tariff
table on each property page for details..
Shoulder Season
From the 1st
of February to the Easter Holiday and/or end of 1st term school holidays. .
Off
Peak Season
From the Easter Holiday and/or end of 1st term school holidays to the Melb cup weekend excluding school holidays and long weekends.
Off Peak continues from Melb cup weekend to Dec 20th
Tariffs
are subject to change without notice.
BOOKINGS
1. May be made by telephone, facsimile, mail or email.
2. The guest who is named in the Rental Agreement,
remains the sole contact person for communication with
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation.
3. The contact person must supply full name, address and
telephone contact details to
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation.
4. Any changes to a booking may incur an administration
fee of $25 in addition to any cancellation fees.
5. Your booking is not confirmed until you fully
complete, sign and return the "Rental Agreement &
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions" along with payment of
25% deposit and any
Schoolies bookings, a deposit of 50%.

All bookings are for the dates shown on the receipt
only. We reserve the right to cancel any booking should
the need arise. The booking is made in good faith by
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation, but may be subject to change as
may be notified by the owner prior to the commencement
of the booking. We cannot accept responsibility for the
actions taken by the owner outside our control. Every
Endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.
7.Properties offering Any Specials on the website apply
ONLY for off peak season and are NOT
available during School holidays, Public
holidays, Long weekends, Peak season or Shoulder season.
PAYMENT
1. To secure your booking, a deposit of 25% of the total
amount due must be made with the lodgement of the Rental
Agreement.
1.a.
A Schoolies booking, a deposit of 50% of the total
amount due must be made with the lodgement of the Rental
Agreement.
2. Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival
date or if the booking is inside the 30 days of the
booking then full payment is required upon booking.
3. Payments can be made by the following forms of
payment;
a. MasterCard, Visa or Bankcard
Please note that if paying by credit or bank card a 2%
surcharge will apply for each transaction.
b. Bank deposit directly into the
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation Account.
c. Cheque or Money Orders must
be made out to
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation received and
cleared at least 14 days prior to your arrival date
Cheques will not be accepted for payment
when arrival date is less than 14 days.
When paying via Cheque please make sure your account has
the amount to cover the cheque if the cheque doesn't
clear then you will
Be charged an extra fee of $25.00 for administration
cost.
SECURITY BOND
1. All guests are required to pay a security bond or
must supply

Accommodation with valid credit
card details
Cheques are not accepted for the payment of the security
bond.
2. After your stay there will be a property inspection.
If there are any breakages, damages or loss to the
property or extra cleaning fees you will incur charges and will be required to
pay
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation the replacement value of any
item or the charges incurred for services.
3.
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation reserves the right to debit
your credit card, Bond or send you an invoice, for any
amounts outstanding or any extra charges for cleaning,
extra services, and additional guests, lost keys,
call-outs, repairs or damage to the property. In the case where quotes are required an amount up to $1000 will be with held, then the balance refunded after prices for works or replacements have been confirmed.
CANCELLATIONS
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation reserves the right
to cancel a booking at any stage. Standard industry
cancellation fees apply.
1. Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to
arrival date will forfeit the full deposit unless the
property can be re let for the full replacement tariff of the original booking and for the
same period. Once
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation has received
full payment for the replacement booking for the same period it
will be then and ONLY then that a deposit will be
refunded less a $50.00 cancellation fee.
2. Cancellations notified 30 days or less and more than
7 days prior to arrival will forfeit the full deposit. (inclusive $100 admin fee)
3. Cancellation 7 days or less, prior to arrival will
forfeit the total tariff.
Should any accommodation booking need to be varied, fees
may be charged in accordance with our cancellation
policies.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Check-in time is after 2pm
on day of arrival and check-out is 10am sharp no later
unless otherwise advised by
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation.
Failure to do so will result in a late checkout fee of
$25.00 for every 2 hour blocks thereof.
YOUR STAY
1. The property is to be used for holiday rental
purposes only.
2. NO SMOKING in any properties what so ever.
3. Each property is designed to accommodate a maximum
number of guests. Written permission must be given PRIOR
to your arrival for any excess guests. A penalty of $100
per guest per night applies if you breach this
condition.
4.
Guests are required to supply their own linen in most
properties such as Bath towels, Hand towels, Face
washers, tea towels
Bed sheets, pillow cases and doona covers for the
duration of the stay or

arrange a linen hire service at your expense. Doonas and
pillows are provided

While every effort
has been made to describe the property accurately,
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation is not responsible
if the chosen accommodation does not “meet” the expected
style required. To reduce the risk of this happening,
please study all the pictures and description of the
property on the

prior to your arrival and call

if you have any queries.
6.
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation is not responsible for poor
or no TV reception or performance or failure of
utilities, essential services or appliances. Please
contact
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation immediately and every
attempt will be made to contact the appropriate
authorities and arrange repairs. However immediate
repair may be beyond our control.
7. Telephones will not be made available to holiday
tenants.
8. Holiday tenants
agree to allow
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation or a nominee to
enter the rented premises to carry out any necessary
repairs or maintenance.
9. Non-urgent call outs, deemed by
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation, will incur a call-out fee of $30.00
10. If
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation receives any noise
complaints, we reserve the right to immediately evict
guests from the property.
SECURITY
1.
Torquay Holiday Rentals
Accommodation is not responsible for the
security of your belongings.
2. It is your responsibility to ensure the property is
left secure at all times and after departure.
CLEANING
the property will be professionally cleaned prior to
your arrival. We ask that you leave the property in a
clean and tidy condition prior to your departure time
including removing all excess rubbish from the property,
washing and storing all dishes away, clean bbq if used,
etc and removing all food items from the fridge and
pantry. Any excess cleaning costs will be deducted from
the security bond or credit card provided.
Pet's
No pets under any circumstances unless the property allows
Pets. You must clean up yards before leaving or
an extra charge will apply
All dogs must be kept
outside at all times if specified by the property.
Any
damage or mess caused by dog/dogs will come out of your
bond.
GARBAGE
Garbage collection days are specified on the property
rules provided to you. We ask that you follow these
instructions. The Garbage Collector will not remove
rubbish in cartons or plastic bags from the roadside. We
ask that you dispose of any excess rubbish upon vacating
the property. If

Accommodation needs to remove
any excess rubbish, costs incurred will be deducted from
the security bond or credit card provided.
DAMAGES
As the tenant, you are responsible for all damages,
breakages and loss incurred during the term of your
occupancy. We ask that you advise us of any mishaps for
which you will be required to pay. The fee payable for
lost keys is $30 and locksmith's fees will be charged
directly to you.
INDEMNITY
You, the tenant, indemnify
Torquay
Holiday Rentals Accommodation
against any liability, which may attach to
Torquay
Holiday Rentals Accommodation as a result of damage, injury or loss
being personal or proprietary suffered by any person
where damage, injury or loss has been contributed to or
caused by any act or occasion of the tenant or his
agent. These conditions are an agreement between the
parties. Any infringement of the above conditions
permits

Accommodation to refuse a key, amend
the rental or immediately terminate the tenancy. |
